Gabe Jones & Fresh Fruit
Gabe Jones, founder and leader of Fresh Fruit, is a drummer, composer, arranger, educator, and producer from Cleveland, Ohio. Drawing from fresh vines and new perspectives on music’s past and present, Fresh Fruit’s sound is inspired by jazz-influenced rhythm and harmony, hip hop, funk, traditional gospel, and R&B. Expanding and replenishing the gifts of our ancestors while reaping the fruits of our labor, the group builds on the path that allows us to fly and create without limitation. Enjoy the fruitful, organic sounds we’ve harvested for your ears.
Ben Gage
Ben Gage is a songwriter from Akron, OH blending folk and roots blues. Ben Gage grew up in the rust belt of Northeast Ohio, spread out in the countryside along the great Lake Erie. His roots run deep alongside the hard working blue collars that Ohio has to boast. That tenacity, love of family, and respect for a long day can be seen in his music. In Fall of 2021 Ben quit his job in the tech-sector to pursue music full time. Now he travels the US sharing stories and songs and always collecting more.
Angie Haze
Join Angie Haze for a stripped-down, two-hour solo set that pushes beyond her usual sound. Performed on piano and guitar and shaped by EarthQuaker Devices and MonsterBox Pedals, the set features unreleased new material alongside a handful of thoughtfully chosen covers.
Julia McDonnell
Julia is a young musician from Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. She is currently a second-year student at Kent State University and previously studied for two years in Tri-C’s Pre-College Jazz Prep program. Julia and her friends—Ben Lojeck on piano, Ben Jackson on drums, and Chase on saxophone—are excited to bring a night of music to good company!
Max Schlenk
Max Schlenk is an emerging artist in the Northeast Ohio region. A Cleveland native, Max attended Shaker Heights High School, where he studied under professional musicians Ken Leegrand and Chris Burge. After being accepted into the Oberlin Conservatory, he studied with saxophonist Gary Bartz and was a featured performer in St. Thomas at the 2020 JEN (Jazz Education Network) Conference. After living in NYC briefly in 2023, he now works as a full-time freelance artist, teaching at The Music Settlement as a J@MS faculty member and as a private music instructor throughout the NEO area. He continues to pursue his interests as both a sideman and bandleader, with plans to record his original music this year.
Bethany Joy
Bethany Joy is a singer-songwriter from Cleveland, OH. She is recognized for her powerful, emotive vocals and captivating song writing style. Influenced by the sounds of Lianne La Havas, Julia Jacklin, Big Thief and Lake Street Dive, Joy’s style ranges from emotional, hard-hitting indie rock to soulful, dynamic jazz. Her first full length album “PLANET” was released in 2022.
Dave Sterner’s Tricotism
Dave Sterner’s Tricotism is an acoustic jazz trio that plays an eclectic mix of jazz, blues, Latin, and swing tunes by artists such as Sonny Rollins, Kenny Garrett, Thelonius Monk, the Beatles, P!nk, Stevie Wonder in addition to original material. Saxophonist Dave Sterner has been performing in Northeast Ohio for over thirty years with popular jazz groups such as Ernie Krivda & the Fat Tuesday big band, Red Light Roxy, and his own trios and quartets. He has received the award for “best horn player” and “best jazz group” in Cleveland from the Cleveland Scene magazine. Steve Renko is an award-winning drummer and percussionist having toured with varied artists in the United States and Canada in addition to performing locally with The Cleveland Jazz Orchestra and Helen Welch. Bassist, composer and educator Tim Lekan has been a regular member of Ernie Krivda’s quartet, as well as, working with and accompanying many artists including Joe Barrett, Oscar Brown Jr., Paul Jost, Barry Miles to name a few.
Christopher Burge
Christopher Burge is a Cleveland-based saxophonist and composer with deep roots in jazz performance and collaboration. A graduate of The Ohio State University, he has spent decades performing, recording, and touring with a wide range of acclaimed artists across genres. Today, he remains an active and versatile presence on stage and in the studio, leading his own projects and contributing to ensembles throughout the region.
Rachel Osherow & The Hang
Experience the captivating versatility of Rachel Osherow—a singer-songwriter and licensed music therapist blending vocal jazz and early music into an intimate and genre-spanning performance. A talented Cleveland State alumna, she has performed with local artists like Angie Haze and JT’s Electrik Blackout. Rachel’s debut solo EP is set to release later this year.
Expect a soul-stirring evening filled with emotional depth, lyrical storytelling, and musical exploration that bridges therapy, tradition, and contemporary sensibility.
Nathan-Paul Davis
Nathan-Paul Davis is a Cleveland-raised, genre-blurring musician whose sound blends soul, funk, gospel, and modern hip-hop into a warm, high-energy experience. A jazz-trained multi-instrumentalist and producer, he brings an improvisational spirit to everything he creates, drawing from deep musical roots while staying firmly in the present. Whether on stage or in the studio, his music is driven by feel, connection, and the joy of giving something meaningful to the listener.

Trumpeter and Vocalist Tommy Lehman is a native of Akron and a graduate of Firestone High School, Tri-C, and The Hartt School of Music. He has been playing professionally for the past several years, touring, recording, and performing with Acid Cats, Nathan-Paul and The Admirables, Chris Coles’ Nine Lives Project, Waves de Ache, Alba Trio, & others.

A five-piece band from Akron/Cleveland whose style blends elements of rock, blues, jazz, funk, and pop. Rent for Cheryl performs original music while continually creating and releasing new material.
Grace Blackford
Singer/songwriter Grace Blackford crafts emotive, thoughtful R&B -forward tracks that affirm and arrest listeners in equal measure. No matter the stylistic avenue she explores, from the lush electronic production of her debut album 'Inside My Head,' to the earthy, stripped-down sounds of her EP 'How Does Anybody Ever Move On,' Blackford's introspective spirit and soulful voice guide each song through highly personal explorations of nostalgia, grief, and the complex, multifaceted nature of love. In a live setting, Grace presents an intimate and immediate concert experience centered around her captivating vocal presence and aching vulnerability.
EMP Trio
EMP is a dynamic jazz group based out of northern Ohio. Since forming at Bowling Green State University, the group has devoted its time into pursuing a mastery of the jazz tradition while keeping true to their own modern influences. Jennifer James is an Akron-based pianist. She has performed with the Sam Blakeslee Big Band, Jazz Heritage Orchestra, and currently plays with the DANJO Jazz Orchestra. Besides jazz, she enjoys indie rock and fusion, drawing inspiration from artists like Mei Semones, Vince Guaraldi, and Laufey.
